Hello,
I did this numerous years ago, so I’m still determining what has been modified in the software. But back also you could configure to use GPIO0 as the CLK.
The problem with this was that it didn’t allow uploading the firmware automatically. You had to manually keep GPIO0 low and reset it to put it in bootloader mode for downloading. I wouldn’t say I liked this approach so I did it this way rather.
I do not use that design presently, mostly because I only use the ESP32- S3, and there’s no stock of the LAN8720A. When I need Ethernet I use the KSZ8851SNL Ethernet Controller. Works great.
Thank You

Hello,
Thanks for reaching out to the Volt Tech Community.
This action isn’t unexpected it’s quite normal.
Because there’s alone one sample and hold circuit, in nonstop scan mode if one channel is floating, the voltage of the next channel will still be present on the capacitor of the sample and hold circuit.
In general, it isn’t recommended to leave analog pins floating as their results are invalid.
However, if you leave them open you can use the A/D Disposition Discovery Control Register. With this functionality, between the conversion of each channel, the capacitor of each channel will be discharged and near 0.
The further states for discharge, the further discharge will be.
I hope it helps.

Hello Erica Mills
First, let me thank you for posting.
1- To achieve a cycle-by-cycle protection function, you would need to apply your own logic using the HRTIM’s capture compare features and interrupts.
You could set up a capture compare unit to sample a specific signal or condition on each cycle and also use an interrupt to perform the necessary actions or trigger a fault if the condition exceeds a certain threshold.
This approach would require careful configuration and software implementation to achieve the required functionality.
2- Regarding the HRTIM initialization in CubeMX, the default configuration may indeed enable blanking.
Blanking is a point that prevents certain events (similar to fault events) from occurring immediately after a compare match. It provides a delay to avoid false triggering caused by transient effects.
While blanking can be useful in some applications, it might not be necessary or appropriate for all cases.
However,
If you believe that blanking is causing misunderstanding or unwanted behavior in your application.
you can modify the HRTIM configuration in CubeMX to disable or adjust the blanking settings according to your conditions. By customizing the initialization code, you can ensure that the HRTIM operates as desired in your specific use case.

Hello,
Thanks for reaching out to Volt Tech Community.
The acceptance filter of CAN is implemented with 8 acceptance masks (one mask for every four mailboxes). Masks are independently enabled or disabled for each mailbox. This cannot be done with FSP APIs. You can either manually write the Mask Registers (MKRk) (k = 0 to 7) or more easily set the group masks on the FSP configurator:
The above settings will set the MKR registers automatically:
