Hello,

I’m trying to import, make and flash some of the example projects included in the archive”ek_ra6m5-exampleprojects.zip”

Still, for a good number of these, it seems they’ve not been updated or maintained to keep up with changes in the FSP leading to numerous errors and warnings in the Stacks configuration tab on importing the design, numerous of which are flagging up deprecated settings and/ or settings that are needed to be set but aren’t set.

Whent theR_ETHER_Write is called andp_reg_edmac-> EDTRR = ETHER_EDMAC_EDTRR_TRANSMIT_REQUEST; edmac started a malformed packet is send see wireshark trace under.

“Set trust zone boundaries” parameter is” yes” in debugger configuration.
Can you help me.

How's this issue now? Were you suitable to fix it already? If not yet, maybe you'd like to share your design then so that the members in this forum can see what is causing the issue. On page 89 of the Renesas RA6M5 specification, there is a sentence “The use of pins AN000 to AN010, AN012, AN013 as digital outputs is not allowed when the 12-Bit A/D converter is used.” If pins AN000 to AN010, AN012, AN013 ...Read more

If pins AN000 to AN010, AN012, AN013 are used as digital outputs when using ADC, what will be the impact and result?

If the pins were used as inputs while the ADC is being used (with an Analog signal on the inputs), you would have the output of the device fighting with the input. This could cause many issues- from excess noise to possible over heating and even potential wear/damage to the device pins.
