Hello,

Not sure that the product I am looking for exists. It should behave like an LED driver but after looking through different LEDs I did not find a product that meets my needs.

  • Can drive 1…. 15 LEDs connected in series
  • Have a possibility to change current through LEDs (not by PWM!)
  • Have the possibility to switch ON/ OFF LEDs rapidly. to ensure bitrate 200kb/ sec

Does such a product exist?

Thanks.

Hello, Right, existing LED drivers all have PWM engines. It depends on the LED, some have Vf = 1.8, and some have 3.5V. So, 15x3.5 = 52.5 V in direct mode. Also current, 20 mA or more? For low current low voltage OPA may be an option, or OPA buffered by transistor for high CV. Thank You

Hello,

Three accompanied PWM waveforms

Is there a recommended way of producing three accompanied PWM waveforms on an RA4M1?
Two is easy with the two outputs from one counter, but how about three?

Should I start two counters together, and hope for the best?
Should I set one to count to a higher figure, and also use the second one to reset the first?

Thank You

Hello, This series of products are designed for the one-time switch, so it is used for low frequency, if PWM is applied, we would recommend using lower than 300Hz, or for parts even <100Hz, you may relate to the ton/toff time of the part for details. Thank You

As the DC motor is the simple one, it doesn't require any tricks to control. You just configure two PWM channels (or a single channel but with switchable outputs).

While using RA2L1AB3CFL processor. I want to produce PWM and Counter at the same time on this processor. I need to both keep time and create PWM. In the FSP configuration section, the PWM and counter settings are different. So I open two of the r_gpt stacks. Although I open it, I cannot set it in different properties. Can anyone help me how can I do this? PWM and counter need to run continuously. Unfortunately, it is not open and closed.
