Hii,

I’ve built a sample board of a 2A colorless LED driver applying the LED2000 move-down converter with a single LiIon battery as the power source.
Everything seems to be solved as it should, but I would like to try the circuit more thoroughly to ensure the design is robust.

Would anyone have pointers on how to test the circuit, what parameters to measure, and what warning signs to look for that may indicate that something isn’t performing optimally?

Thanks, Vikas

Hi, If you have a DC-coupled Current inquiry you can cover Inductor Current to check if it isn't working in the saturation region. Still, also you can check the switching pin with a voltage inquiry just to see a perfect waveform and measure the right switching frequency. Let me know. Nidhi Singh

Hi, The only difference between the two devices is a pin. In LED2000 you find the DIM pin while in ST1CC40 you find the INH pin. Hi,

The only difference between the two devices is a pin. In LED2000 you find the DIM pin while in ST1CC40 you find the INH pin. The differences between the DIMMING function and INHIBIT is that whit DIM device is already turned ON (internal sense), and with INH device starts always from OFF–> ON.
So for the dimming function better to use LED2000.

    Regards
