Infineon XMC MCUs with Cortex- M23 and/ or M33 Cores?

  • 0

Helllo,

The release notes for the latest update for Segger’s J- Link software had this in them

(J- Link- OB- XMC4200) Added support for ARM Cortex-M23, and Cortex-M33 cores.

(XMC Link) Added support for ARM Cortex-M23, and Cortex-M33 cores.

Does this indicate that Infineon is releasing, or is about to release, XMC MCUs with Cortex-M23 or M33 cores?

Thank You

      Hi,

Thanks for your interest in our products. This is just a standard process of including Arm core support to the Segger jlink tool, it doesn’t specify any product or device from Infineon then. In the future, there might be a product that will use these standard cores. In similar cases, there will be an official announcement from Infineon’s side.
